Courses & Course-wise Eligibility (Official)
Each course has its own Subject Group requirement, qualification criteria and age limit — check carefully before applying.
Qualification: Intermediate Science (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects. General category candidates must qualify in each of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and score an aggregate of 50% in these subjects (47.5% for SC/ST/special category, as per VCI Gazette Notification 2016). Admission is based purely on entrance exam merit — no other weightage is considered.
Age Limit: 17 to 25 years as on 31 December 2026 (date of admission to 1st year). 5-year age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Qualification: +2 Science with Biology as one subject — either PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology).
Age Limit: 17 to 22 years as on 1 July 2026 (start of academic year of admission). 5-year age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Qualification: Intermediate Science (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics from a recognised Board/University.
